The spacious ground-level room offered a lovely terrace where I could sip my morning coffee while watching little lizards and colorful birds bask in the lush garden. The La Palapa Restaurant became a favorite; their affordable yet delicious breakfasts provided a taste of local flavors that lingered long after each meal. Situated on a quiet street yet just a short bus ride from the vibrant streets of Cancun and the captivating beaches, the hotel's location is perfectly balanced for those looking to explore yet unwind. I appreciated the accommodating staff who made my dining experience effortless, catering to my dietary needs with genuine warmth. For those seeking an escape filled with Mexican culinary delights and serene beauty, Sotavento is a great choice.
